Ibrahim has served as the CEO of Majd since 2014, having previously held the position of General Manager of Almajdouie Real Estate Development Company until 2013. Additionally, he serves on the Boards of various companies and charitable organizations, including Almajdouie Group, Arbah Capital, Haha Development Holding Company, Tashrefat Tourism Company, Middle East Logistics Institute (MELI), and Ali Almajdouie Charitable Foundation.
Ibrahim was a member of Asharqia Young Businessmen Council as well as the Housing and Urban Development Committee in the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce. Ibrahim holds a bachelor's degree from King Faisal University since 2005, and an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology since 2008.
Ramez has joined Majd as the Chief Investment Officer (“CIO”)in March 2021. With more than 40 years of professional experience, Ramez is a seasoned CIO and Head of Asset Management with a long track record of implementing asset allocation strategies and has delivered against the stated investment objectives.
Along with his role as the CIO, he serves as a director to a number of professional, corporate and charitable organization based in the EMEA region.
Prior to Majd, Ramez has worked in various senior positions with reputable organization in the EMEA region including Citibank NA Private Banking (London), Al Mal International Limited (London), Arab Bank as Global Chief Investment Officer & Head of Asset Management - Private & Investment Banking), National Commercial Bank (Saudi Arabia) as CIO of Private Banking, Saudi American Bank (Saudi Arabia) as Assistant GM & Head of Managed Investment Products, Shamil Bank of Bahrain (Bahrain), Al Ghanim Industries (Kuwait) and Trade Bank of Iraq (Iraq) as Senior Investment & Treasury Advisor.
Ramez holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Business from the American College of Switzerland in Leysin, Switzerland. He recently attended and passed Harvard Business School’s Alternative Investments Course in 2021, MPT course from London Business School and Global Investing Course at Insead.
Farouk has worked with Almajdouie Group since 2010 and has more than 16 years of professional experience in financial management, accounting, budgeting, strategic planning, and company investment portfolio management (AUM), as well as other disciplines within the finance world.
Prior to joining Almajdouie, Farouk worked as the Finance Manager of Juma Al Majid Group (UAE) for three years where was responsible for cash management, payables, and receivables functions within the shared service department. Before that, he was the Facility and Customer Relationship Manager at Mashreq Bank (Qatar).
Farouk has a bachelor's degree in Economics and Accounting from Damascus University. During his time in the GCC, he has received training related to finance and accounting functions including the IFRS Diploma from PwC Academy. Currently, he is a candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Abid has worked with the Almajdouie Group since 2018 and has more than 18 years of professional experience in investment management, financial advisory, and advisory services. During his tenure with Majd, Abid has been part of the team which successfully invested and divested various financial and real estate investments held by the Company. He is also responsible for undertaking periodic performance reporting to the Investment Committee, Board of Directors and Shareholders of Majd.
Prior to joining Majd and Almajdouie, Abid was a Director with Deloitte Financial Advisory serving in various jurisdictions in the Middle East for over 10 years. Before Deloitte, he worked at Ernst & Young for eight years in their Transaction Advisory and Audit & Assurance businesses. During his time with these firms, he has diverse experience with in-depth knowledge of aviation, oil and gas, financial services, and real estate industries.
He received a Chartered Accountant qualification in 2005 and is now a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.
Hasan joined Majd Investment in March of 2020. With over 18 years of experience in human resources, PR, corporate communications, administration & operations, he is a valuable member of our Management Team.
His last position was as Group Head of Human Resources & Corporate Communications at Bahrain Development Bank group, where he served for around 16 years. Previously, Hasan started his career at Kuwait Finance House in Bahrain, while the company was undergoing its formation phase.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Government from Eastern Washington University, USA and a Diploma from Spokane Falls Community College, USA. Hasan obtained his CIPD in 2012 and attended Harvard Business School’s Executive Program in 2013.
