Site (Civil) engineer is accountable for supervising and directing all Engineering activities at the site on a daily basis, to define, prioritize and execute the civil engineering work, resolves technical issues and ensures all civil engineering deliverables are executed as per schedules.
Main duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise site requirements in respect to the scope, cost, time, and functionality, ensuring that all project milestones are successfully achieved and up to schedule.
- Provide practical level of support and guidance to site team members / workers within the area of the project, fulfilling queries and escalating where necessary.
- Resolve technical issues and provide prompt solutions.
- Monitors project activity by subcontractors to establish progress and takes action to ensure compliance with plans and contractual requirements.
- Provide periodic progress reports.
- Liaise effectively with corporate functions as appropriate.
- Responsible for site safety, quality, cost and schedule targets are achieved.
- Deliver assigned work packages that meet project deadlines.
Minimum Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from a reputable University.
- PMP is required.
Minimum Experience:
- Experience of more than 6 years as Site Engineer.
Other requirements:
- In depth knowledge of design codes, applicable local and international standards, and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Solid technical base and design skills.
- Proficient within Auto CAD engineering software.
- Engineering principles knowledge.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
